K98 forum

Feb 8, 2015 · It is easy to say perhaps the blue circle is already from 1941 since no confirming document is found yet. But I have thought the circle was one result of winter war in 1941, so I would think the other way. I guess they produced only flat railed K98k-Zf41, no normal railed one made together in the same line in 1941. .

Jul 28, 2012 · A S/147/G is the second year (1935) of k98k production by JP Sauer and Sohn and while it may be hard to say its "RARE", it is damn near very scarce. With production numbers below 100,000 total in which there are 3 very interesting Variations. With one var. having the super hard to find right receiver S/147/G code location. the 4th lot of BNZ rifles in 1941 (lot #1 being 1-9999, lot #2 being 1-9999a, lot #3 being 1-9999b and so on. So by my math it was rifle number 30,015 produced. by BNZ in 1941. However what is interesting about my BNZ 41, the model designation does appear on the receiver. Again, according to Laws the BNZ rifles that year had the Mod.

Jul 15, 2021 · Most of the parts have #8222 N. As of now, I believe it is a 1944 8mm K98 Mauser built in the Wilhelm-Gustloff Werke arsenal, Weimar. It has "CAI ST ALB VT" on the right side of muzzle near front sight indicating it was imported by Century Arms. Most of the nazi symbols have been pinged out. Hey everyone!
